GARNETT–Another candidate has filed for the Anderson County Commission. Charles Allen of Garnett is a Republican, and filed by petition to challenge incumbent Democrat Dean Register to represent County Commission District Number 1. Allen will face former Anderson County hospital Administrator Jim Johnson, also a Republican, in the August 3rd Primary.
