There’s probably no one that will dispute the fact that our country is polarized along political lines….in fact, some historians compare the divisions to what existed in the years leading up to the American Civil War 160 years ago. A divided country was addressed during the annual “we” conference at Ottawa University. The featured speaker was Doctor Joshua Fredenburg, a well-known lecturer on leadership and diversity. He says the country is going through a crisis.
Fredenburg went on to say that people need to show appreciation for each other…including those we may disagree with.
