The theme of the annual “WE” Conference at Ottawa University was “Being United as One”. The special speaker was Dr. Joshua Fredenburg, author and lecturer on leadership and diversity. He told the audience, most of whom were college students, that the Nation is not united, in fact the current national situation is tragic:
Fredenburg spoke of the need to appreciate people, including those who have different opinions from our own. Along with college students, a number of community leaders and police officers were also in the audience.
