The Ottawa City Commission will hold a Study Session this afternoon at City Hall. The agenda is full of items for discussion. One item is being discussed a second time and it has to do with breast feeding policies for employees. City Manager Richard Nienstedt says they want all employees to feel comfortable as they begin, and grow their families:
Other items on the agenda include the rezoning of a stretch of land close to Proximity Park for construction of a concrete plant, A discussion about adapting International and National Electric Codes, adoption of the International Fire Code, and presentation of the 2020 Street Improvement and Rehabilitation Plan. The study session begins at 4:00 this afternoon at City Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend all meetings.
