The Ottawa Police Department, in order to increase the fight against drug crimes in the area have launched a new system and phone number to report local drug activity, give drug crime tips and to speak to someone dedicated to investigating drug crimes in Ottawa
You can leave a message or speak to a detective. The phone system will email the message to staff assigned to investigate drug crimes. Weingartner adds that the franklin county drug enforcement unit or d-e-u has been the lead unit investigating drug crimes in Ottawa and Franklin County for three decades. The Ottawa Police Department will continue to work with the Franklin County Sheriff’s office to mutually investigate drug-related crimes in Ottawa and Franklin County.
