USD staff will be back to work today to start planning the rest of the school year and what learning will look like for the students of the district. Also, this morning, meal distribution for all kids 1-18 is beginning at four locations around town. The meals are free and you have to sign up to receive the meals. Superintendent, Dr. Ryan Cobbs, has a very important reminder for parents regarding meal pick up:
Over 500 have signed up to receive meals from the district. Pick up points are Ottawa School, as well as Sunflower, Garfield, Eugenefield, and Lincoln Elementary schools. It will be drive through style, officials encourage you to not get out of your car and be patient as the kinks in the system are worked out.
Information on schooling to the students will be released later this week.
