HIAWATHA — Congressional candidate Dennis Pyle said the Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission has dismissed charges of misconduct made by supporter of his opponent, U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins. When the charges first surfaced, Pyle said his staff promptly supplied documents, plus documents that weren’t requested but would help investigators. He said he had nothing to hide and that the charges were false. Pyle is challenging Jenkins for the GOP nomination for the 2nd District, which includes Franklin County. He says she is too liberal for Republicans.
