Online learning began yesterday for USD students at Ottawa Middle School and Ottawa High School. One good thing about the online platform is that students at Ottawa High are very familiar with using Google Classroom for school work. However, Ottawa High Principal Kelly Whitaker says the key to success during the next few weeks is going to be communication.
Online learning begins this morning for elementary students. Last night, teachers around the district held a video conference with students and parents using Zoom. Kids were all smiles as they talked with teachers and got a chance to see their classmates.
