RANTOUL — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an apparent arson fire that damaged a barn in the 4000 block of Jackson Road near Rantoul Sunday.
Fire departments from Cutler Township, Pottawatomie Township and Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison responded. Undersheriff Steve Lunger said the fire started in three separate places. The fires did about $2,000 in damage to the barn and hay, he said.
