Hey! How about some good news?

The new online learning curriculum that students across the state of Kansas have been forced into due to COVID 19 has been stressful for many students across the state.  Many districts are reporting that less than 50% of their students are actually doing the assignments.  However, that is NOT true for Ottawa High School Students.  OHS Principal Kelly Whitaker says her students are far ahead of the curve:

She adds that some districts have frozen grades and students have figured out that if they don’t do the work, it won’t affect their final grade.  Ottawa has chosen to not do that and make the students more responsible for their final class grade.
