GARNETT — A citizens’ committee says it’s forming a group to offer support for improvements to schools in Anderson County USD 365. The members of the new group, called Future of Anderson County Education, said they will seek money for to help promote a proposed bond issue for the improvements. FACE chairmen Michael Burns and Reuben Feuerborn said the citizens committee has gathered information for facilities and conducted a series of public hearings on a long-range plan for the district. The group seeks to raise $7,500 for the effort. The district covers Garnett and northern and western Anderson County.
