The Kansas Legislative Council’s decision to override Governor Kelly’s Executive Order concerning the banning of public gatherings at Church and Funerals, drew the ire of the Governor who filed suit to attempt to overturn that decision.  Representative Blaine Finch says he is supportive of the Order, however, there was one sentence they suggested to eliminate.  KOFO’s Jeff Brewer has more:

Finch added that he agrees that Churches and other mass gatherings should not be held, but the order needs to decriminalize the act.

The Supreme Court expedited the schedule to hear oral arguments in the case, and will hear those arguments today.  Kelly hopes they will have a decision today, so the order can be put in force before tomorrow’s Easter services
