COLONY–Two buildings in downtown Colony that were due to be demolished has been put on hold because their destruction could cause an existing building that houses Colony Goods to cave in as well. The business has been owned and operated by Jeanie Ray for over 10 years. Two buildings just west of Colony Foods were due to be demolished. However, contractors found that Colony Foods and the building immediately to the west of it have a shared wall that if taken down, would cause the Colony Foods building to fall in as well.
