Two rounds of severe weather swept through the KOFO listening area this morning, leaving a trail of damage behind.  The first, stayed mostly to the south of Franklin County, and stayed on the Anderson County Line.  Some areas saw tennis ball size hail and high winds as the storm blew through.

The second round came through in the 11:00 hour.  It brought 70 to 80 MPH winds all across the area.  Torrential rains left many areas flooded, high winds blew down power poles and lines and brought down a lot of tree limbs.  Ottawa City Crews and Franklin County Public Works are working on clearing the roads and getting power restored.  Also, be aware of flooded roads and please do not drive into a flooded road.  Other damage has been reported in other counties.  KOFO will have reports of damage across the area as the become available.
