The Franklin County Courthouse will be undergoing an extensive painting job over the next several weeks. Maintenance Director, Brandon Sands, presented the County Commission with a low bid of $131,000.00:
Sands had proposed changing the Courthouse back to its original colors when it was built in the late 1800’s, but the County Commission voted to keep the Courthouse in its current colors. The project will be paid from funds from the Transient Guest Tax.
