The Ottawa High School Class of 2020 will have a Graduation Ceremony, just not what you would call a traditional one. The ceremony will be personal, family experience for students. Ottawa High School Principal, Kelly Whitaker, explains the process:
The School District will run a live feed of both sessions and KOFO will broadcast the event live! The Graduation event is scheduled for June 6th. Session one will be from 9:00 in the morning till noon, and consist of students with last names beginning with “A” through “L”. Session two from 2:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon for students with last names beginning with “M” through “Z”.
A more traditional ceremony is being planned for later in the Summer. Details to be released soon.
