GARNETT — Garnett residents will receive a survey from Kansas State University, which is studying the impacts of biofuels production on local communities in Kansas and Iowa. Garnett is one of four communities in Kansas chosen for the study. The survey will ask people about their perceptions of the costs and benefits of biofuels production to the community. Completing the survey will provide researchers with important information about how these plants are affecting communities, researchers told the Anderson County Review.
