OTTAWA — A 73-year-old Ottawa man convicted of five counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a minor was taken immediately to the Franklin County jail Monday afternnon for what District Judge Thomas Sachse called 60 days of shock time. Maurice Wiederholt was sentenced to 16 years but will be on long-term probation once he’s released from jail. He will wear a monitoring bracelet. He was also ordered not to have contact with the victims and was ordered to write a letter of apology and pay for their therapy.
