OTTAWA — In deciding what to do about a lot for the school bus service, the Ottawa school board decided on cheap rather than convenient. School Supt. Dean Katt said the district is negotiating with the district’s former bus contractor to buy the contractor’s bus lot on West Wilson Street. That is a cheaper option than building a new bus lot beside the Ottawa Middle School, Katt said.
