GARNETT — A contractor will soon start repairs on the Anderson County Courthouse sidewalks. County clerk Phyllis Gettler told the Anderson County Review that broken sections of the sidewalks on the east, west and north sides of the courthouse will be replaced. The project will take about two weeks, she said. The work will cost $12,600. The city of Garnett has received a grant and will share the cost of the sidewalk repairs, she said. Business owners who park along the courthouse side of the square will be asked to park elsewhere while work is under way, she said.
