OTTAWA — So you’re hot? You can have a hot time by chilling out at the Forest Park Pool Wednesday. And Ottawa Recreaton Commission director Therron Dieckmann said it will all be free. Because of this week’s torrid temperatures near the 100s, Dieckmann said the pool will be open for free. Dieckmann said he tried to have free days earlier but it took a couple of days to assemble enough staff to handle the hundreds of swimmers expected for the afternoon. The free pool day is 1 to 6 Wednesday afternoon.
