TOPEKA–A former Ottawa woman who was active in the Ottawa Education Association has joined with several other Kansas Democrats in announcing their support of Sam Brownback for Governor. Mary Jeanette Farver is joining three other Democrats in forming a group called “Democrats for Brownback.” The Democrats for Brownback say that Brownback has a long record of working tirelessly for the people of Kansas for over 20 years. They say Brownback has tried to partner with a diverse cross-section of people to find the best solutions to issues facing Kansas…and that differing political views did not matter to him.
