The world has come to a slow crawl since the COVID 19 pandemic began, especially on the Economic Development front. As Franklin County and the City of Ottawa develop and promote Proximity Park, a lot of interested companies have backed off. Franklin County Economic Development Director, Paul Bean, says he is confident the interest will pick back up:
He adds that a Phase Three of an Economic Stimulus Plan may be on its way soon, with an emphasis on getting child care providers help with revenue they have been missing out on.
