OTTAWA — Ottawa city officials met with Ottawa school administrators this week to discuss traffic tieups at 15th and Ash. City manager Richard Nienstedt said the group looked at ways of dealing with traffic from the high school, middle school and Eisenhower Elementary School which are all near the intersection. Studies indicate there isn’t enough traffic to warrant more signals or turn lanes. School officials said they’ll talk to parents who pick up or drop off students. They also discussed the traffic flow around Garfield Elementary School.
