The Franklin County Public Works Department will soon have a new 55 ton trailer to haul heavy equipment. It replaces a 25 year old trailer in disrepair. Public Works Director, David Lee, says several bid were received recently:
Cost of the trailer is a little over $80,000, and the purchase received the unanimous approval by the County Commission. Lee says the old trailer was too old and dangerous to continue using.
