The Franklin County Commission has agreed to donate more money to the Meals On Wheels Program. Elizabeth Maxwell, Executive Director of the East Central Kansas Area Agency of Aging, says Franklin County is not paying enough toward the program:
The County Commission had earlier donated an extra $10,000. Maxwell says the new donation brings Franklin County up to par on its share of paying for the program.
