Bret Staneslow is getting a reputation in Ottawa, as someone who wants to have a good time and help out as many people along the way as he can. His latest venture is “Dudes with Noods”. Sounds a little risque, but is actually a movement to help people in need with food, particularly ramen noodles. He collects them and supplies the “Blessing Boxes” in town several times a week. He says the need is there:
This weekend, a big need is expected. Staneslow is accepting donations of not only ramen noodles, but any food items that people would like to donate. If you would like to make a donation, contact Bret on Facebook, or give us a call at KOFO, we would be happy to not only accept donations, but pick them up, if needed. Staneslow says, feel free to make a food drop in one of the “Blessing Boxes”, at 5th and Main, or behind the Goat Mild Soap Store, in the alley off Second and Main.
