GARNETT — The Garnett Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary has teamed up with the Garnett Ministerial Alliance to stock up depleted reserves. The Anderson County Review reported that the alliance is low on funds and non-perishable items. Monetary donations can be sent to the Garnett Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 252, Garnett, KS, 66032. The Backpack Brigade in Colony is in desperate need of donations to make sure that every Crest student has the necessary school supplies and a backpack for the upcoming school year. More than 200 students have benefited from the program over the
past three years. An account has been established at Garnett State Savings Bank for donations.
