A Miami County Cold Case Murder Investigation is receiving more attention and is the subject of a National True Crime Podcast. The murder of 15 year old Tawnya Knight in Spring Hill, December of 1996, is being highlighted by “The Cold Case Chronicles”. Knight disappeared that evening in December after being dropped off at a friends house. By their accounts, she left on foot, alone. Her body was found a few months later in a farm field.
Her mother, Lori Aubry Knight, a class of 1977 graduate of Ottawa High School, says the case stayed cold for years, until they hired a private investigator about a year ago, and then the information started flowing in:
