OTTAWA — The Crystal Plaza Theater wants to offer you a new movie experience – dining and drinks. Owner Peach Madl applied for a first-time beer license which would allow the theater to copy a new movie concept – a special area that allows movie goers cinema, supper and suds at the same time. City finance officer Scott Bird said the application has been OKd by city regulators. Commissioners approved the application at their meeting this morning.
