A study of what industries would be a good fit for Proximity Park and other places in Franklin County has yielded some interesting possibilities. Franklin County Development Council Executive Director, Paul Bean, listed some examples for the Ottawa City Commission:
Bean says meat processing plants are definitely not one of the possibilities in the Food Production Category. Bean also says the study mentioned Logistics and Distribution as strong prospects for the local area.
