Yesterday Kansas neared the 66,000 mark when it comes to total COVID 19 cases, with a big increase of over 1,600 cases since Wednesday and an additional 40 deaths. Kansas Health Secretary, Dr. Lee Norman, says the State isn’t even through the first wave yet. He did say Kansas hit restrictions hard, early on and that helped:

On Friday, Franklin County reported 17 new cases since Wednesday. County Health Officials says this is not the time to be complacent and to remain diligent in the effort to mitigate the spread.
