A Rantoul man died in a accident in Miami County yesterday. At about 2:15 yesterday, Miami County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call about a car in a field in the area of 327th Street, west of Pressonville Road. Once on scene, they found the car several hundred feet off the roadway that looked as if it had rolled several times. They found 52 year old Aaron Harbison of Rantoul, deceased, outside the vehicle .
A preliminary investigation shows the car was traveling east on 327th, went off the road to the right, entered the ditch and overturned multiple times, ejecting Harbison, before coming to rest in a bean field.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information on, or who may have seen the crash occur, to please call them.
