Many events around the County have been cancelled this year, but the Annual Veterans’ Day Celebration in Ottawa will go on, but on a reduced scale, with new and improved displays at City Park. The Franklin County Veterans Day Committee has asked the County Commission for a $1,200 donation, but Commissioner Roy Dunn says a smaller figure is appropriate:
Other Commissioners agreed with the $500 donation. The money will come from the Transient Guest Tax Fund.
