As the USD 290 School Board made their final decision on returning kids to school full time, Board Member, Linda Alderman told the others that it’s not only the Elementary kids that are struggling with not being in school, the High School students are missing out on learning valuable skills needed for more advanced learning. She also added her view:
She added that she was concerned that the past seven months of students being out of school could lead to a decrease in the graduation rate, something the District has been working hard to build up the past few years.
