Ottawa High School has a tradition of naming two Students Of the Week. Teachers nominate students and put their names into a jar with the reasons behind their nomination. Last week, three were selected. OHS Freshman Ava Thompson was one of the students selected for the honor. Ottawa High School Principal Kelly Whitaker, on why Thompson was nominated:
