Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce organizers have announced the Grand Marshals for the upcoming Christmas Parade, and are still encouraging entries from businesses, civic groups, families and others for floats in this year’s event. The 50th Annual Edition of the Garnett Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, with the theme “Golden Christmas Memories: 50 Years of Joy”, begins with a nighttime Downtown Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 in the evening, Saturday, November 28th and continues with the parade, led by Grand Marshals Chris and Natasha Goetz. Entry Forms for the 50th Annual Christmas Parade are available at City Hall, the Chamber Office, or online at ‘garnettchamber.org.‘ The Garnett Area chamber of Commerce invites everyone to enter, participate and help celebrate 50 years of Christmas Parades and Community Spirit.
