Utilities are a big issue in Ottawa right now. About a year ago, the electric rate was increased for the first time in over 10 years and another rate increase is set to be approved soon. But, what about Ottawa’s water? Utilities Director, Dennis Tharp, says that when it comes to water, Ottawa is ahead of the curve:
He adds that utilities to Proximity Park, South of Ottawa, are all installed and ready to go. When the first client goes into the Park, Ottawa will be able to provide them with everything they need, when it comes to electricity, water and sewer.
