COVID 19 is becoming more deadly in Franklin County. The Health Department reported yesterday that 47 new cases have been reported and unfortunately, there have been five additional deaths of Franklin County residents, bringing the total to 13. Interim Health Director, Nick Robbins, says wearing a mask is imperative and he is getting complains about those who don’t:
There are currently 222 active cases, 126 pending test results and one hospitalization that has been reported to the Health Department. The State of Kansas is behind as COVID 19 has spiked throughout the State. The Health Department has not received any results from tests that were taken Friday.
