TOPEKA — If you get pulled over during this Labor Day holiday, you’ll probably get a ticket. But you could also get a dollar. Beginning Sunday and going through Sept. 11, volunteers will give each driver a dollar if all occupants are buckled up securely in the vehicle. Safe Kids Kansas director Cherie Sage said the campaign called “Bucks For Buckles” is being held in 46 cities or counties across Kansas by Safe Kids Kansas, State Farm Insurance and the Kansas Department of Transportation. Those include Anderson and Coffey counties, Osage City and Lawrence.
