SPRING HILL–Three people were injured in a four-car accident around 7:45 last night. The accident occurred on Highway 169 south of Spring Hill. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a car driven by Jason Phillips of Osawatomie was travelling at a high rate of speed when he collided with a car driven by James Blevins of Paola. Phillips’ car went out of control and hit another vehicle driven by Aaron Battle of Louisburg. Battle’s car rolled over into the median. Phillips’ car then rearended a vehicle driven by Walter Robbins of Louisburg. Jason Phillips and a child in the car, Jacey Phillips, were taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital. The driver of the third car, Aaron Battle, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital. No details of the severity of injuries.
