A three-car accident North of Princeton Saturday night on Highway 59 has left one man dead. 29-year-old Jason D. Price of Ottawa died in the accident at approximately 8:15 pm. Price was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Curry says a call came in shortly after 8:00 of an erratic driver. Deputies were responding to the area when, shortly after the initial call, a call came in that three vehicles had been involved in a wreck. Eight other people were transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital. Five were treated and released and two did not require treatment upon arrival. 41 year-old Jeff Gardner of Louisburg was flown by air ambulance to Overland Park Regional Medical Center after arriving at Ransom Memorial Hospital. His condition is not known at this time. Alcohol is not suspected to be a contributing factor in the wreck. Highway 59 was closed for several hours following the wreck. The Kansas Highway Patrol and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department continue their investigation.  Posted 08/29/10  7:40am
