GARNETT — A citizens group has scheduled the first community forum on a USD 365 bond election. The group Future of Anderson County Education will hold the forum this morning at 10 at the First Christian Church in Garnett on the proposed $14 million bond issue. The bond issue would be used to pay for a new elementary school in Garnett and improvements to school buildings in Westphalia, Mont Ida and Greeley. Voters will decide on the bond in November.
