There has been some indication that the COVID virus has an airborne element of transmission. Franklin County has purchased a large quantity of air purifiers, and County Administrator Derek Brown, says they are good ones, being used in children’s hospitals:
Brown says that while certain departments did get priority on distribution of the purifiers, he understands that all departments of County Government are important to the smooth operation of day functions.
