The COVID 19 vaccines are coming soon to Kansas, but will be delivered in five different phases. Governor Kelly says as it is delivered to the State, it will be stored in places equipped for ultra cold storage. Locations will not be revealed, for security concerns. She says the vaccines will be free.
Phase One will go to front line health care workers and long-term care residents. Phase two to “essential workers”, for example, first responders educators, meat packing plant workers and grocery store workers.
Phase Three and Four will include anyone 65 and older, as well as those with a high medical risk, like diabetes and asthma. Finally Phase Five will be anyone non-high risk under the age of 65.
