OTTAWA — Family and friends are organizing fundraisers for funeral expenses and for the family of Jason Price, 29, Ottawa, who was killed in the three-vehicle traffic accident near Princeton this weekend. Friends said Price was laid off a couple of months ago and had no life insurance. He and his wife Amber have four girls and they had just bought on a house on Richmond. He had been working on the house and was returning to Ottawa when the accident occurred, said Lori Hedges, one of the fund drive organizers. Price was a serious diabetic and may have had a diabetic black-out before the accident, she said. Road Rash will play a benefit concert at Driver’s this saturday night from 9 to midnight. There may be a small cover. Friends are trying to organize a raffle, too, Hedges said. Raffle items are needed. To donate items or cash, contact Hedges at 785-248-3458 or 242-9652 or e-mail [email protected] or Courtney McMahon at 418-8631.
