The fuel dispensers at the Franklin County Public Works Fuel Island are going to get an upgrade. Public Works Director, David Lee, says the pumps are too far away from the tanks, causing vapor to get into the fuel lines and causing loss of pressure. Lee says the problem is worse during the Summer months:
The county Commission approved purchasing new fuel dispensers at a cost of about $18,000.
