Longtime Kansas U. S. Senator Pat Roberts, who is retiring this year, has given his farewell speech to the Senate. He concluded his 25 minute speech by giving thanks:
Roberts was first elected to the U. S. House of Representatives in 1981 and then to the Senate in 1997. He is a proud graduate of Kansas State University.
