The Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Garnett invite families to come to the “Santa Cruise” tomorrow evening in Garnett from 6:00 to 8:00. The “Santa Cruise” welcomes people to cruise the city and look at all the lights, both in residential areas and the business district. On Garnett’s Town Square you are encouraged to cruise through a staging area on Oak Street, between 4th and 5th avenues, where Santa will greet you and “Elves” will take photos. The Garnett Chamber will be providing wrapped treats for those cruising Oak and having their picture taken. Many local businesses will stay open during the cruise and you are encouraged to stop by businesses and restaurants.
Vehicles of all makes and models, trucks, motorcycle and other modes of transportation are invited to the “Santa Cruise”. The photos taken with Santa will be posted on City of Garnett and Garnett Chamber Facebook pages for participants to share.
