OTTAWA — Franklin County Commissioner Sue Farrell said she’s going to stage a write-in campaign to keep her commission seat. The final vote tally between her and Colton Waymire, who won the GOP nomination, was close in the four-way Republican primary, and Farrell said that despite the difficulties of running a write-in, she believes she has a good shot of winning. Four years ago, Farrell upset Waymire’s grandfather, then-commissioner Don Waymire. After he lost in a GOP primary, the elder Waymire staged an unsuccessful write-in campaign against Farrell.
